Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network/Telecommunication Engineer to join our IT department. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level network and telecommunication systems, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. As a senior member of the team, you’ll provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive the adoption of modern network solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, wireless networks, VoIP, and unified communications.

Develop, implement, and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption standards.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable network solutions.

Mentor and lead junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.

Stay current with networking and telecom technologies; recommend enhancements and improvements.

Manage relationships with vendors and third-party providers to ensure service quality.

Create and maintain documentation including diagrams, SOPs, and configuration guides.
Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (advanced degree/certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP preferred).

Strong expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, and related protocols.

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VoIP systems, and wireless controllers.

Solid knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.

Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring or leading network teams.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
