Job Summary
Join a leading retail services company in Philadelphia as a Network Engineer, specializing in large-scale campus network deployments and enterprise connectivity solutions. This full-time role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance LAN/WAN/WLAN networks using cutting-edge Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with campus network architectures, routing protocols, and Wi-Fi solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize enterprise infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise campus networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN) to ensure high performance and reliability.

  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Aruba switches.

  • Integrate and manage Palo Alto firewalls using Panorama.

  • Implement and optimize routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

  • Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise Wi-Fi solutions, ensuring coverage, capacity, and performance.

  • Maintain network documentation, design diagrams, and operational procedures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for security integration, troubleshooting, and network optimization.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.

  • Strong expertise in campus network design, LAN/WAN/WLAN deployment.

  • Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Aruba switches.

  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama management.

  • Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 technologies, VLANs, and trunking.

  • Routing protocol knowledge: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.

  • Strong Wi-Fi deployment and troubleshooting experience.

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Cisco CCNP or higher (or equivalent experience).

  • Network automation knowledge: Python, Ansible.

  • Familiarity with SD-Access or SD-WAN solutions.

  • Experience with network monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Cisco DNAC, etc.

  • VoIP or Unified Communications integration experience.
