About the Role
Central Peninsula Hospital (CPH) is looking for a Network Engineer to manage, design, and maintain the hospital’s advanced network systems. This role ensures seamless connectivity, data security, and reliable communication across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in network design, security protocols, and troubleshooting while supporting healthcare operations that directly impact patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the hospital’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.

Design scalable network solutions supporting on-premise, cloud, and hybrid systems.

Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades for enhanced reliability.

Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to develop security protocols and disaster recovery plans.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations in all network projects.

Provide technical support and maintain detailed network documentation.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (Associate degree or trade school training preferred).

Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in network management or server administration.

Strong knowledge of routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and cloud systems.

Proficiency in network design, architecture, and security standards.
