Overview
GovCIO is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support our US Courts AO EOC TMS contract. This is a fully remote opportunity where you’ll play a key role in designing, maintaining, and securing local area networks to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance for mission-critical government systems.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will:

Acquire, install, and maintain local area networks (LAN).

Research and evaluate vendor products to recommend optimal solutions for user needs.

Purchase, configure, and deploy new networking products.

Manage LAN performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuity of services.

Implement and enforce network security procedures.

Define and maintain LAN policies, standards, and documentation.

Manage distributed processing databases across the local area network.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience (or equivalent work experience).

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (required).
Preferred Skills
-
Strong background in network design, installation, and troubleshooting.

Experience implementing and enforcing network security protocols.

Knowledge of vendor product evaluation and procurement processes.

Compensation
-
Posted Salary Range: $124,540 – $190,000 per year
-
Final compensation depends on experience, education, skills, and market factors.
