Facility Network Project Engineer Responsibilities
As a Facility Network Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in optimizing Novolex’s network through strategic facility planning and execution. You’ll lead consolidation and reconfiguration projects, support new site setups, and ensure all designs align with synergy targets and performance goals.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading facility consolidation, layout optimization, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Designing and implementing Greenfield and Brownfield projects with efficient layouts and workflows.

Using volumetric and density modeling to improve storage and throughput.

Developing AutoCAD layouts for material handling, racking, and warehouse design.

Collaborating with Operations, Distribution, Finance, Procurement, and IT teams.

Tracking and validating cost savings from optimization projects.

Managing end-to-end project execution, including risk management and reporting.

Serving as a subject matter expert in warehouse design and infrastructure strategy.
Facility Network Project Engineer Qualifications
To be successful as a Facility Network Project Engineer, you’ll need strong technical, analytical, and leadership skills. You should have experience managing multiple large-scale projects and be comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

5+ years of experience in warehouse design, facility engineering, or fulfillment operations.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and layout design software.

Strong analytical and modeling skills for volumetric/density optimization.

Excellent project management and communication abilities.

Ability to travel up to 40%.
Preferred Experience:

Hands-on knowledge of racking systems, material handling equipment (MHE), and warehouse infrastructure.

Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.
