Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Nuclear Pharmacist to join our team in Spartanburg, SC. This full-time, on-site position plays a vital role in the preparation and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, compound, and verify radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Adhere to and enforce radiation safety protocols and pharmacy compliance standards.

Perform quality control procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to support diagnostic imaging services.

Manage inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Participate in an on-call rotation and flexible scheduling as required.
Qualifications
-
Experience working with radiopharmaceuticals and in a nuclear pharmacy environment.

Authorized User of radioactive materials.

Strong understanding of USP <797> and USP <825>, radiation safety, and nuclear medicine standards.

PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university.

Current or eligible South Carolina Pharmacist License.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and follow strict radiation safety protocols.

Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative team environment.
