Role Description
We are looking for a committed Staff Nuclear Pharmacist to join our team in Spartanburg, SC. This full-time, on-site position plays a vital role in preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, dispense, and verify radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Enforce strict radiation safety measures and maintain pharmacy compliance.

Conduct quality control procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to support diagnostic imaging services.
-
Assist with inventory management and regulatory compliance efforts.

Participate in on-call duties and rotating shift schedules as required.
Qualifications
-
Experience in radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear pharmacy practice.
-
Authorized User status for handling radioactive materials.
-
Thorough knowledge of USP 797 & USP 825 standards, radiation safety, and nuclear pharmacy operations.

Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and nuclear medicine regulations.

PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.

Valid South Carolina Pharmacist License, or ability to obtain one.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Capability to lift up to 80 lbs while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
