Your Role
As an Early Years Educator at Miyabi Nursery, you will play a key part in shaping the development of children aged 2–5 by delivering exceptional care and learning opportunities that reflect both Japanese and British early years traditions.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities

Foster a calm, safe, and stimulating environment for learning

Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development

Maintain positive and professional communication with parents and colleagues

Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with EYFS
-
Promote positive behaviour, following our Japanese-influenced behavioural philosophy

Collaborate with the team to continuously enhance our educational programme
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
-
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

Experience working with children aged 2–5 in a nursery or EYFS setting
-
Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures

Calm, kind, and professional approach to childcare

Passion for nurturing a respectful and structured learning environment
Desirable:

Interest in Japanese culture or early years pedagogy

Experience in bilingual or international early years settings
