Position Overview
The Nursing Assistant provides essential nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting the delivery of safe, compassionate, and effective care.
Job Description
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Completion of a Hospital Assistant program or equivalent training (such as nursing student coursework) preferred.
Certification & Licensure
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital or clinical setting preferred, or active enrollment as a nursing student.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Work Schedule
- Shift: Evening
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
- Days: Variable schedule
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Compensation
