Nursing Associate – District Nursing | Manchester
Are you an experienced and dedicated Nursing Associate – District Nursing looking to make a real difference in patient care? Join our North Manchester Community Nursing Team, where you’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care. We have exciting opportunities for two Nursing Associates at our Harpurhey and Cheetham Hill locations. If you have a preferred site, please mention it in your application.
As a Nursing Associate – District Nursing, you will work alongside registered nurses and a multidisciplinary team, providing and monitoring care while contributing to assessments. Your role bridges the gap between Healthcare Support Workers and Registered Nurses, ensuring patients receive holistic and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities of a Nursing Associate – District Nursing
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in community settings.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, report changes, and assist with assessments.
- Support individuals with diverse healthcare needs, including elderly and chronic conditions.
- Work independently within the nursing team, following clinical protocols.
- Deliver care under the supervision of registered nurses while adhering to NMC standards.
- Support patient recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term care planning.
Who We Are Looking For
- A qualified Nursing Associate – District Nursing registered with the NMC.
- Passionate about community healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A valid UK driving license and access to a car are essential.

- Salary: £26,530 – £29,114 per year (pro rata)
