Your Role & Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

✔ Assess, plan, and administer treatment for disabilities, injuries, and illnesses based on physician orders
✔ Coordinate patient care to address Occupational Therapy needs, including treatment planning, discharge preparation, and resource identification
✔ Facilitate seamless care by linking and scheduling patients with required services, monitoring care delivery, and advocating for patient well-being
✔ Support patient recovery by working across the healthcare continuum to achieve the best outcomes
✔ Mentor and guide fellow staff members and students as a preceptor

This role may require flexibility in work hours.

Qualifications & Requirements

📚 Education:
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program recognized by the California Board of Occupational Therapy and the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).

🛠 Experience:
✔ Experience requirements depend on patient care area
✔ Minimum of one year of relevant practice preferred

🎓 Licenses & Certifications (Required):
✅ California Occupational Therapist License (CBOT)
✅ Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) (NBCOT)
✅ Physical Agent Modalities (PAM) Certification (for specialized cases such as hand diagnoses, pediatrics, and dysphagia)
✅ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association)
