- Comprehensive Patient Evaluation and Treatment: Following thorough chart reviews, you will conduct individualized and skilled physical or occupational therapy evaluations. You will establish clear, measurable treatment goals in collaboration with patients and their families, developing tailored treatment plans to achieve these goals. You will expertly deliver therapy procedures, provide clear explanations and education, and adapt treatment based on patient progress.
- Accurate and Timely Documentation: You will maintain meticulous and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, goals, modalities, and procedures in compliance with all relevant OHSU, regulatory, and payer standards, ensuring all charts are closed promptly.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Completion of an accredited physical or occupational therapy educational program.
- Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive and progressive treatment strategies focused on functional outcomes in various settings (acute, community, home).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A high degree of courtesy, discretion, and respect for patients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities through role modeling and professional conduct.
- Excellent organizational and strong triage skills.
- Current State of Oregon Occupational Therapist license OR Current State of Oregon Physical Therapy License.
- Current American Heart BLS CPR certification.
- Compliance with OHSU’s Code of Conduct, Respect in the Workplace policy, and all other applicable policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Outpatient Upper Extremity experience.
