Role of Job

As an Occupational Therapist at Sutter Health, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain independence by assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs. Your work will focus on restoring daily living, vocational, and homemaking skills for individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Through expert patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication, you will foster confidence and cooperation among patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.

You will ensure patient privacy and safety by adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides while also serving as a clinical instructor for assigned students.

Qualifications & Requirements

βœ” Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program

βœ… Occupational Therapist (OT) License
βœ… Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Healthcare Provider)
