Occupational Therapist Opportunity at MMC-Memorial Medical Center

MMC-Memorial Medical Center seeks a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and implementing rehabilitative programs aimed at enhancing vocational, homemaking, daily living skills, and overall independence for individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. You will build strong rapport with patients, their families, and healthcare providers through expert assessment, attentive care, and clear communication. Ensuring patient privacy and safety while delivering optimal care is paramount, and you will adhere to all relevant regulations and policies. This position also involves providing clinical supervision to assistants and aides, and serving as a clinical instructor for students.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • Current OT (Occupational Therapist) licensure.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.

  • Strong critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and decisive judgment skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent professional communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, conflict resolution, teamwork, customer service, and community relations skills.
