Per Diem Occupational Therapist – Day Shift
Overview:
Huntington Health, an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai, is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and administer treatments for patients with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses in accordance with physician orders. This role involves coordinating care, discharge planning, resource referrals, patient advocacy, and mentoring staff and students.
Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program approved by the California Board of Occupational Therapy

Experience: Minimum one year of related experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications (Required):
-
California Occupational Therapist License (CBOT)
-
Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) – NBCOT

Physical Agent Modalities (PAM) Certification – for specialized hand diagnoses, pediatrics, and dysphagia

Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association

Skills & Expectations:

Strong coordination, planning, and patient advocacy skills

Ability to facilitate seamless care across the healthcare continuum

Successful completion of orientation
Schedule: Per Diem, Day Shift (flexible hours, overtime eligible)
