Join Synechron as an Office Manager in Belfast
Synechron is seeking a proactive and highly organised Office Manager to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our dynamic and growing Belfast office (currently 70+ employees and expanding). This pivotal role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, and enjoys getting involved in all aspects of office life—from facilities management to event planning and executive support.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, support internal teams, and contribute to an engaging and efficient workplace culture. Key Responsibilities

Greet visitors, clients, and suppliers, providing front-of-house support

Manage day-to-day office operations including equipment, supplies, and cleanliness

Lead planning and execution of office moves or space changes

Organise internal and external events (e.g., Town Halls, Diwali, Christmas party, client visits)

Answer phone calls and redirect inquiries appropriately

Handle incoming and outgoing post

Maintain office calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings

Be the first point of contact for new joiners and coordinate onboarding with HR

Monitor and restock office supplies; manage orders and liaise with vendors

Oversee facilities contracts, including cleaning and maintenance providers

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in the office

Assist with monthly credit card reconciliation and basic financial admin

Book travel and accommodation for senior managers

Draft routine communications, invitations, and internal updates

Maintain digital filing systems and create spreadsheets/presentations

Prepare reports on budget and office activity as needed
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as an Office Manager or Senior Office Assistant

Strong event management and coordination skills

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with managing office equipment and liaising with landlords

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Friendly, proactive, and approachable demeanour

Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism

Willingness to be in the office at least 4 days per week due to the nature of the role
