About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a proud subsidiary of Tesco. In this fast-paced retail role, you’ll help ensure smooth store operations through excellent customer service, efficient stock management, and keeping the store clean and welcoming.
No two days are the same—and that’s part of the fun! Whether you’re behind the till, stocking shelves, or helping a customer find what they need, you’ll play a key role in making One Stop a great place to shop and work.
What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver outstanding, natural customer service with pride and enthusiasm

Support all store activities: tills, stock replenishment, online orders, vending, and safety checks

Keep the store clean, tidy, and organised, ensuring a safe shopping experience

Engage in community, seasonal, and charity events

Take part in feedback initiatives like the “Have Your Say” customer survey

Occasionally take responsibility for the store in the absence of a Shift Leader or Manager
-
Comply with safety procedures, including Think 25 for age-restricted sales
-
If applicable, support Post Office operations (subject to background checks)
