About the Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Customer Service Assistants to join the team at One Stop, a convenience retail business and subsidiary of Tesco.
As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring customers receive a warm welcome, shelves are well-stocked, and the store stays clean, organised, and safe.
Whether you’re helping a customer find their favourite snack or assisting at the checkout, every interaction counts – you’ll be the face of One Stop.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service

Work across all store areas: tills, replenishment, vending, online fulfilment, and stock routines

Assist with age-restricted sales following the Think 25 policy

Handle cash and card payments accurately

Maintain clean, organised, and safe store conditions

Support seasonal and community events
-
Occasionally lead store shifts in absence of management (as required)

Follow all security and health & safety procedures

Take part in feedback surveys and team performance reviews

Comply with legal and policy training requirements
If your store includes a Post Office Local, you’ll also need to pass a financial and criminal background check.
