Online Content Creator (remote)

Job Summary:

Tendo is seeking a hands-on Content Specialist to create, edit, and optimize editorial and digital content across multiple clients. This role involves executing content marketing strategies, supporting content operations, performing analytics, and contributing to client-facing projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of enterprise B2B technology audiences and a passion for high-performance content experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Editorial Content Creation:

  • Develop content marketing plans, including audience targeting, goals, schedules, content outlines, and social content strategies.

  • Write, assign, edit, proofread, and submit content across multiple channels, ensuring adherence to client style guides.

  • Create headlines, decks, pull quotes, direct-mail copy, and other supporting content.

  • Conduct research to support content development and maintain quality standards for voice, tone, and messaging.

Content Analytics:

  • Assist in content strategy deliverables such as audits, inventories, gap analyses, and web/social analytics reports.

  • Use data visualization tools to produce dashboards and summaries highlighting key insights.

  • Support SEO audits, keyword research, and optimization of content taxonomies and metadata.

Content Operations:

  • Support content migration and management projects, including mapping, building web pages, and uploading/tagging digital assets.

  • Conduct QA of web pages for functional, presentation, SEO, and editorial standards.

  • Create documentation and training materials for client teams to manage and optimize content independently.

Project Management:

  • Develop schedules, track progress, and provide internal and client status updates.

  • Coordinate with design and production teams for visual content needs.

  • Oversee copy flow from editorial to production and publishing.

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while providing excellent client service.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in editorial, content marketing, or digital content.

  • Experience with content analytics, management, and SEO.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to balance multiple projects.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, collaboration platforms, and project scheduling tools.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), web analytics, and digital inventory tools.

  • Ability to work independently, collaborate in fast-paced environments, and adapt to diverse tasks.

  • Familiarity with leading social media platforms and design/production software tools.
