Liberty University is seeking a Faculty Member in Counselor Education and Supervision to contribute to its mission of Training Champions for Christ. Key Responsibilities

Teach assigned courses, maintaining an annual teaching load based on contract type (10-, 11-, or 12-month faculty).

Employ innovative teaching techniques to accommodate diverse student learning styles and needs.

Engage in scholarly activity, professional development, and service to the university community.

Contribute to curriculum development and ensure course content aligns with program standards and Christian values.

Maintain effective communication and mentorship with students to support academic and spiritual growth.

Participate in departmental meetings, assessments, and other university service as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Terminal Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a U.S. Department of Education–recognized accredited institution.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven organizational and time management abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and online teaching platforms.

Ability to obtain and maintain professional counseling licenses as applicable.

Demonstrated teaching ability at the graduate level.

Active membership and participation in professional counseling organizations.

Knowledge of faith integration and biblical concepts in the context of higher education.
Preferred Qualifications

PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program.

Professional licensure such as LPC, NCC, or School Counseling.

Active membership in ACA and AACC.

Experience teaching in higher education, preferably online.

Familiarity with the Canvas learning management system.
