About the Role
Cosmo 1:1 is a premier online learning platform connecting K–12 students with experienced tutors from leading U.S. and Canadian universities. We specialize in personalized one-on-one instruction in Math, ELA, and SAT preparation. As a tutor with Cosmo 1:1, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire and guide students in a supportive virtual classroom, building both their skills and confidence.
This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about making learning engaging, interactive, and effective. You’ll have the freedom to set a consistent teaching schedule that works for you while helping students succeed in an after-school or weekend setting.
Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, personalized one-on-one lessons in Math, ELA, or SAT prep

Prepare lesson materials appropriate to each student’s age, grade level, and academic needs

Update your availability promptly in the Cosmo app to match student scheduling

Submit thoughtful class feedback after each lesson for student progress tracking

Communicate regularly and professionally with students, parents, and Cosmo staff

Ensure a professional, distraction-free teaching environment

Arrive consistently on time and prepared for each session
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
-
At least 3 years of teaching experience (K–12 in Math, ELA, or SAT prep)

Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian K–12 standards

Teaching license preferred but not required

Reliable high-speed internet connection

Windows or Mac computer (CPU 6000 minimum required)

Access to a quiet, private teaching environment

Commitment to a minimum of 6 months with Cosmo 1:1
