With expanding operations, we are now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join us and help drive forward our success.
About the Role
As an Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day running of multiple construction sites. Your focus will be on workforce planning, program execution, site compliance, and collaboration across departments. You’ll bring your leadership, scheduling, and analytical skills to keep operations efficient, compliant, and on time.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and schedule labour across multiple construction sites

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and workforce allocation

Prevent downtime by coordinating skilled labour resources effectively

Work with site managers and office staff to create and update programs of work
-
Maintain weekly program updates and ensure on-time delivery

Conduct quality inspections and compliance checks
-
Assist with material quantity planning and cost management
-
Perform material take-offs for tenders; liaise with suppliers to keep projects within budget

Generate clear, professional site progress reports on a weekly basis
-
Proactively identify and solve issues on-site, especially those impacting timelines or resources
Requirements
-
Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role within construction
-
Ability to manage multiple sites, teams, and timelines
-
Strong knowledge of construction programming and workforce coordination
-
Excellent IT and documentation/reporting skills

Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
-
Background or understanding of Quantity Surveying and take-offs (desirable)

Exceptional communication and organisational skills
-
Hands-on approach and high attention to quality
-
Full UK driving licence (required)
