The Bartender provides exceptional beverage service to guests in a courteous, timely, and professional manner, while maintaining Hyatt standards and a clean, organized bar.
Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to Hyatt standards and guest requests.

Maintain bar cleanliness, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.

Verify age requirements for alcohol purchases in compliance with local/state laws.

Process guest orders, handle cash/credit transactions, and balance assigned bank at shift’s end.

Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and enhancing experiences.

Monitor alcohol consumption for guest safety and compliance with policies.

Restock inventory and supplies as needed.

Collaborate with servers, hosts, and culinary teams for seamless service.
Qualifications

Previous bartending experience preferred; hotel or hospitality bar experience a plus.

Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation techniques.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Must be at least 21 years of age (per local/state requirements).

Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications (where required).
