Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and coordinate comprehensive care for individuals with both physical and behavioral health needs. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and delivering nursing services that align with established standards of practice. A key aspect of this role is educating patients and their families about physical and behavioral health conditions, treatment plans, and ongoing wellness strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Patient Care:
Assess the physical and behavioral health status of patients upon admission and throughout their stay. Utilize clinical judgment to develop, implement, and regularly update individualized nursing care plans based on assessed needs and patient responses. -
Standards of Practice:
Deliver nursing care in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, as well as all applicable facility and corporate policies, procedures, and established clinical protocols. Ensure all practices align with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. -
Ongoing Assessment & Documentation:
Conduct frequent and systematic assessments of each patient’s condition, and document relevant clinical information accurately and thoroughly in the medical record. Monitor progress and adjust care plans as necessary. -
Patient and Family Education:
Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medication regimens, and health maintenance strategies to support positive health outcomes and promote informed decision-making. -
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure that all aspects of the patient’s physical, psychological, developmental, and cultural needs are addressed. Take appropriate actions to resolve patient or family concerns and complaints when needs are unmet.
