We are excited to offer a part-time opportunity for an Outpatients Administration Clerk to join our dedicated team. As an Outpatients Administration Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative support in our Patient Call Centre. This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities – Outpatients Administration Clerk
Efficient Patient Management

Manage patient inquiries and appointments efficiently through the call centre.

Provide clear and accurate information to patients, ensuring a positive experience.
Comprehensive Administrative Support

Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.

Adhere to departmental, Trust, and national policies and procedures.
Scheduled Working Hours

Part-time role, 22.5 hours per week.

Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (14:30-19:00), Thursday and Friday (08:00-12:30).

Saturday morning shift on a rota basis with time back during the week.
Skills and Qualifications for Outpatients Administration Clerk

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in handling patient inquiries professionally and courteously.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is an advantage.
