Key Responsibilities

Move freight across dock areas and to/from trailers.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.

Verify documentation and ensure proper freight handling.

Secure freight using straps, pallets, and ropes.

Recoup or repair damaged items when necessary.

Assist with documentation and provide basic customer support.

Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

Perform hostling duties if required.
Qualifications
-
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Minimum Age: 18 years
-
Preferred Experience:
-
Warehouse, dock, or freight handling
-
Forklift operation
-
Hostler/yard mule driving
-

Skills & Physical Requirements:
-
Basic math and communication skills
-
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and open trailer doors (75 lbs of force)

Bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling freight throughout the shift

Work independently or as part of a team

Work Environment

Dock setting with exposure to various weather conditions, dust, noise, and fumes

Fast-paced, deadline-driven operations

Frequent interaction with internal team members
