FedEx Freight is seeking dependable and hard-working individuals to join our Bismarck, North Dakota service center as Package Handlers. This is your chance to start or grow a career in logistics with flexible hours and excellent starting pay.

What You’ll Do:

Transport freight across dock area between trailers
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Check freight documentation for accuracy
Secure freight inside trailers using straps, pallets, or rope
Recoup or repair damaged freight as needed
Assist customers with freight and paperwork
Complete reports and documentation accurately
Perform hostling duties (if required)
Comply with all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Prior experience in freight handling, warehouse, or forklift operations (preferred)
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and open trailer doors with 75 lbs. of force
Comfortable with bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, and pulling
Basic math and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Experience with dock or warehouse operations is a plus

Working Conditions:

Dock environment with exposure to weather, noise, dust, and exhaust
Fast-paced, physically demanding, and deadline-driven
Frequent interaction with service center team members
Shift hours may vary based on operational needs
