Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport freight across the dock area to/from trailers

• Operate manual and motorized equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and ropes

• Match and verify freight documentation (type, weight, hazmat)

• Recoup or repair damaged freight as needed

• Assist customers with freight or documentation

• Complete required paperwork and reports

• Perform hostling duties (if required)

• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• Minimum 18 years of age

• Previous experience in freight handling, warehouse, or forklift operations preferred

• Basic math and counting skills

• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs. (dock plates), 75 lbs. (trailer doors), and carrying varying weights frequently

• Ability to bend, squat, twist, and push/pull throughout shift

• Able to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions:

• Dock-based environment with exposure to weather, fumes, dust, and noise

• Fast-paced and deadline-driven operations

• Frequent contact with service center personnel

• Shift hours may vary based on operational needs

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $22.11–$25.86 per hour
