Job Responsibilities
Yard Switcher Duties:

Move trailers between yard and load/unload doors

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switching equipment

Use Yard Management System or switcher cards to track trailer movements

Follow all yard safety protocols and communicate with management
Package Handler Duties:
-
Load, unload, push, pull, carry, and sort packages by hand
-
Use hand-to-surface methods to safely handle items
-
Read labels, scan packages, and sort by destination
-
Use tools like scanners, dock carts, chutes, and rollers

Perform assigned warehouse duties in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

No prior experience required (experience as a package handler or CDL/switcher is a plus)

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must maintain an active DOT file

Strong ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

Good communication and basic tool-handling skills
