Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a commercial truck with a proprietary lift system to load and unload containers at customer locations while adhering to all safety regulations.
Conduct and document daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Accept and complete additional delivery assignments as required to meet business demands.
Utilize a handheld company device for delivery verification, customer signatures, and navigation.
Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane to handle containers as needed.
Inspect and clean containers to ensure they are presentable and delivery-ready.
Coordinate rental agreements and payment processing with customers during service visits.
Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer questions, delivery concerns, or service issues.
Document key service notes or issues encountered during deliveries.
Perform basic maintenance and repairs on containers and lift systems, both on-site and at the storage facility.
Support storage center operations and assist with various tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized truck cab at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Reports to: Market Manager or Territory Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $20.00
General benefits package provided (details available upon hire)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid CDL Class B License with no air brake restriction.
Must be at least 21 years of age (per insurance requirements).
Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate or ability to obtain one with a minimum 1-year DOT certification.
Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Previous experience using handheld electronic devices preferred.
Basic math skills and ability to complete required paperwork.
Experience operating forklifts or cranes is a plus.
Must be able to attend and complete a 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience will be considered.
