Part Time Dairy Frozen Clerk

Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Dairy/Frozen Clerk to join our team in Millsboro, DE. In this role, you will process and stock products according to Dairy/Frozen standards, maintain clean and safe work areas, provide excellent customer service, unload stock, and reload salvage. You may also perform duties of a Frozen Food Clerk when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Process, stock, and rotate products according to Dairy/Frozen standards

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

• Provide friendly, helpful customer service

• Unload stock and reload salvage items

• Perform duties of a Frozen Food Clerk as needed

• Follow company training guidelines, including food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge

• Operate within company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–3 months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; able to convey information to customers and team members

• Math Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform basic money and weight measurements

• Reasoning Ability: Apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated instructions and solve basic problems

• Certificates/Training: Completion of company-required training, including orientation, food sanitation, safety, and customer service programs

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms

• Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch

• Lift and move up to 60 lbs; reach heights between 6 and 72 inches

• Specific vision abilities: close vision, color vision, and depth perception

Work Environment

• Constantly work in a cool environment (34–36°F)

• Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions and moving mechanical parts

• Occasional exposure to extreme cold in freezer (-20°F), fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals

• Moderate to loud noise levels
