Overview:
Capella University seeks experienced social work professionals to teach graduate-level courses and mentor doctoral learners in its GuidedPath and FlexPath programs. This is a flexible, remote opportunity designed for working professionals with expertise in social work and graduate-level teaching.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality instruction using pre-designed curriculum.

Mentor doctoral learners and serve on doctoral committees.

Provide timely feedback within 48 hours (excluding weekends/holidays).

Travel occasionally for doctoral residencies or site visits.

Use online learning platforms to engage learners effectively.

Maintain academic standards, attend meetings, workshops, and training.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education: MSW from a CSWE-accredited program required; Doctorate in Social Work or related field preferred.

Licenses: Graduate-level social work license required; must obtain Minnesota licensure upon hire.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of MSW-level practice required; 2+ years of graduate-level teaching preferred.

Strong oral/written communication, scholarly writing (APA 7th), academic technology proficiency, and ability to support diverse learners.
Compensation & Benefits:

GuidedPath Courses: $500–$4,000 per course (avg. $3,000+).

FlexPath Courses: $125–$4,000 per course (avg. $3,000+).

Doctoral mentoring: ~$400 per mentee; reviewer assignments start at $200.
