Role Responsibilities

Teach graduate-level courses using GuidedPath or FlexPath formats.

Mentor doctoral learners and participate in doctoral committees.

Provide timely feedback to learners within 48 hours (excluding weekends/holidays).

Travel occasionally for doctoral residencies and site visits.

Utilize online learning platforms to enhance the student experience.

Ensure learners understand evaluation standards and maintain high academic expectations.

Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and university-required training.

Support other university activities as needed.
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of MSW-level social work practice.
-
Master’s degree from a CSWE-accredited and regionally accredited program.

Social Work graduate-level license (and must obtain Minnesota licensure if applicable).

Demonstrated knowledge of academic evaluation, oral/written communication, scholarly writing (APA 7th edition).

Strong computer and technology skills for online teaching.
Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate in Social Work or related field (Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or Education).

Minimum 2 years teaching experience at the graduate level.

Experience mentoring doctoral-level students and overseeing research.

Ability to accommodate diverse learners and support at-risk students.
Travel Requirements

Occasional travel within the US for doctoral residencies, site visits, or special assignments.
