About the Role
As the Part-time Financial Controller, you will be responsible for improving financial processes, ensuring best practices, and supporting business growth. You will work alongside the Managing Director and the board of directors to develop strategic financial plans, enhance reporting systems, and contribute to critical decision-making. Additionally, you will help shape company culture and behaviors while ensuring financial compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy and planning, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and controls.
- Collaborate with directors to drive strategic business decisions.
- Provide financial insights to support company expansion and investment plans.
- Manage risk assessment and compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant.
- Proven experience as a Part-time Financial Controller or in a senior finance role, ideally within the property sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
