Part Time Merchandiser

Role Overview:

As a Merchandiser, you will service multiple retail locations independently, ensuring our greeting cards, party goods, gift wrap, plush, and other celebration products are displayed, organized, and fully stocked. You’ll play a vital role in creating an exceptional customer experience while maintaining inventory and supporting store management.

Responsibilities:

  • Merchandize and organize product orders across assigned retail locations.

  • Display products within greeting card departments and other areas.

  • Maintain clean and organized backroom areas and retail displays.

  • Communicate with store management regarding service or schedule questions.

  • Partner with retail store associates to foster positive relationships.

  • Plan and execute weekly service schedules using company-issued tablet.

  • Assist with store resets, minor fixture work, and product assembly as needed.

  • Be available for extended hours and additional days around major holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience required; training provided.

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.

  • Reliable transportation and internet access required.

  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, squat, push, pull, lift, and carry merchandise.

  • Technologically competent to use a company-provided tablet for daily tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting pay: $12.60/hr with scheduled increases to $13.30 after 6 months and $14.00 after 1 year.

Route & Schedule:

  • Retail locations: 5020, 4230, 6502, 5518 Grape Rd (Mishawaka, IN) and 52303 Emmons Rd (South Bend, IN).

  • Weekly hours: 8 hours per week on average; up to 16 hours around holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Work on sales floor and backroom; lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Stand, walk, stoop, squat, push, pull, carry throughout the day.

  • Stepstool may be used to complete tasks.
