We are looking for a dedicated Pastoral/Teaching Assistant to join our team at Norton College in Worcester. This Pastoral/Teaching Assistant role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners. In this permanent, term-time position, you will support the Head of School in ensuring the smooth running of the college and assist with various pastoral and teaching duties.
Key Responsibilities as a Pastoral/Teaching Assistant
As a Pastoral/Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students and staff. Your duties will include:

Helping students access lessons, vocational activities, and on-site/off-site programs

Acting as a key worker for one or two students, ensuring their needs are met

Serving as a positive role model for students and promoting a positive learning environment

Supporting the SLT and Pastoral Lead in pastoral care duties and activities
Skills and Qualifications for Pastoral/Teaching Assistant
To be successful as a Pastoral/Teaching Assistant, candidates should possess:

A GCSE qualification or equivalent

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
