About the Role

As a Patient Billing Representative at CareCentrix, you will handle 30–35 inbound calls per day from patients, providers, and health plan companies. You’ll answer billing questions, resolve issues, and provide education on CareCentrix’s role in their care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate payment inquiries and determine patient financial responsibility.

  • Collect balances and offer payment assistance options.

  • Answer questions on explanations of benefits, balances, and payments.

  • Ensure prompt, accurate, and efficient call resolution.

  • Escalate complex patient concerns when necessary.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 1+ year customer service experience in a call center.

  • 1+ year healthcare or medical industry experience.

  • Billing experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with dual monitors, multiple applications, and data entry (30 WPM).

  • Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office, browsers, and search navigation.
