Role Overview
As a Patient Coordinator at Cromwell Hospital, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors across all outpatient reception areas. Under the guidance of Front of House Supervisors and the Manager, you’ll play a vital role in delivering excellent service, processing payments, assisting with appointments, and maintaining a smooth patient journey from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist patients and visitors as the hospital’s main front-facing representative

Manage bookings, payments, guarantee letters, and insurance validations

Process and maintain patient documentation, labels, and medical records
-
Coordinate communication between patients, consultants, and hospital departments
-
Maintain reception areas and ensure alignment with hospital service and safety standards
-
Assist in scheduling appointments and providing guidance to patients on appropriate services
-
Support inspections, visitor access, and meetings as needed
What We’re Looking For

Prior Front of House or customer service experience (healthcare preferred)
-
Finance skills: billing, invoicing, processing receipts

Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
-
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
-
Friendly, professional, and empathetic manner
-
AMSPAR or equivalent medical secretarial qualification (desirable)
-
Experience in private healthcare, luxury retail, or 5-star hospitality settings is a strong advantage
