About the Role

As a Patient Services Specialist (PSS), you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations. This position involves handling front-office clerical duties, supporting multiple “stations,” and assisting coworkers to deliver outstanding patient service. Every PSS is expected to learn and perform all duties associated with the role, adapting to the needs of the office each day.

This is a full-time, on-site position at our Wesley Chapel Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform front-office clerical duties across multiple stations.

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and medical staff.

  • Assist coworkers and collaborate across teams to ensure efficient operations.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Adapt to changing priorities and office layouts as needed.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: Healthcare experience preferred; must be detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.

  • Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).

    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    • Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid state Driver’s License (travel required to satellite offices, 26–50%).

  • Other Requirements: Must pass background, drug, and nicotine screenings; influenza vaccine required (with exemptions considered).
