About the Role
Payroll Solutions, part of the MBE CPAs affiliate group, is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll prepare and process client payrolls in QuickBooks, ensure compliance with wage and tax regulations, manage garnishments, generate payroll reports, and assist with tax filings. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely, in a hybrid model, or onsite at one of our 19 U.S. locations.
Key Responsibilities

Process weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and after-the-fact payrolls for multiple clients.

Prepare quarterly and year-end reports, including W-2s.

Update employee records and handle payroll adjustments per client requests.

Ensure payroll compliance with applicable wage and tax laws.

Provide exceptional client support and resolve payroll-related queries.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proficiency in QuickBooks payroll processing.

Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred (Training Available):

Experience with isolved HCM platform.

Knowledge of payroll laws and compliance.

Service bureau or client-focused payroll experience.

Schedule
-
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours/week.

Minimal overtime, except during January–February for year-end processing.
