OpenTable, a leader in the hospitality industry and part of Booking Holdings, Inc., is seeking a passionate and experienced Payroll Manager – Americas to lead payroll operations for Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Reporting to the Director, Global Payroll, you will foster a culture of excellence, build future-proof processes, and proactively guide the business through the complexities of the payroll environment.
In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries and frequencies, manage tax liabilities and reporting, oversee payroll tax systems and vendors, and manage payroll queries. You will also research regulations, assist with special reports, serve as the point person for tax notices and audits, and ensure correct taxation of payroll and benefits in North America. Building strong relationships with Finance, HROps, Legal, and FP&A teams, as well as the Booking Holdings Payroll Team, will be crucial. You will also lead and develop the Americas Payroll Team, fostering a high-performing and supportive environment, and assist with ad-hoc projects.
We are looking for a self-starting and enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 6 years of recent hands-on multi-national payroll experience, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and ideally a Certified Payroll Professional designation. You should have 3 years of team management experience, two years of hands-on ADP WorkForce experience, and advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage large datasets and generate ad hoc reports. A strong knowledge of payroll protocols, particularly IRS regulations and federal, state, and local taxes, is essential, along with a process-first approach and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining data confidentiality and meeting deadlines.

The salary range for this US-based role is $125,000-$145,000, with eligibility for an annual cash bonus and comprehensive benefits.
