The Opportunity

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Global Payroll team in San Jose, managing payroll processing for North America (U.S. & Canada). This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering high-quality payroll services.

Key Responsibilities

๐Ÿ”น Payroll Processing & Compliance

  • Process bi-weekly and ad-hoc payroll using UKGPro and Workday HRIS.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

  • Manage payments, reconciliations, and payroll documentation.

  • Support internal and external audits, including SOX controls.

๐Ÿ”น Employee Support & Issue Resolution

  • Address payroll inquiries via ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolutions.

  • Maintain knowledge articles for employee self-service.

๐Ÿ”น Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation in payroll processes.

  • Assist in payroll-related projects and system implementations.

  • Support metrics development and performance tracking.

๐Ÿ”น Team Collaboration & Growth

  • Communicate regularly with team members and key stakeholders.

  • Stay up-to-date on global payroll processes to provide backup support when needed.

  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development.

What You Need to Succeed

โœ” Required:

  • 3+ years of multi-state payroll experience in a high-volume corporate environment (3,000+ employees).

  • Strong knowledge of multi-state laws, taxes, and compliance.

  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).

  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.

โœ” Preferred:

  • Experience with UKG Pro, Workday HRIS, and ServiceNow.

  • Knowledge of equity transactions in payroll (ESPP, RSU).

  • Multilingual proficiency is a plus.
