Carbon60 are working with a global advisory and pensions consultancy, who are looking for an experienced Pension Analyst to join them on a contract basis.

Job Overview

Supporting on a range of key projects, including analysing data in excel, creating calculation pro forma, producing test packs for automation changes, and testing and signing off calculation changes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Understand and communicate data issues/cleanse requirements.
  • Monitor and provide updates on specific tasks within projects.
  • In conjunction with the Team Leader, ensure that all delivery promises and performance standards are achieved.
  • Challenge procedures to identify process improvements.
  • Assist in due diligence exercises, analysing data quality, identifying data issues, and proposing solutions.
  • Work with the Team Leader to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience of dealing with occupational pension schemes – Defined Benefit (DB) is a must.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is essential.
  • Strong data analysis and manipulation skills.
  • New installs/big scheme changes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.

Contract Specifics

  • Duration: 6-months initially until May 2025, with possibility of extension(s).
  • Rate: £350-£400 per day (Inside IR35).
  • Office Location: Leeds.
  • Working Flex: Predominantly remote working, with up to 3 times per month in Leeds.
