Role Overview

Autodesk is seeking a Strategic Planning Operations Manager to accelerate the work of the People and Places (PPL) organization’s Portfolio, Planning, and Programs. This newly created role focuses on:

  1. Operational Support – managing OKRs, business reviews, and operational rhythms.

  2. Enablement Support – building reliable, repeatable planning and delivery processes to ensure clarity on goals and timelines.

The ideal candidate is a big-picture thinker who can also dive into details, thrives in ambiguity, and can inspire alignment across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement planning operating rhythms, norms, and practices in partnership with senior leadership

  • Drive improvements to frameworks, tools, and processes for program planning and execution

  • Support OKR management and business review cycles

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to gather insights and ensure adoption of solutions

  • Manage complex projects in a global, matrixed environment

  • Document and role-model effective decision-making and collaboration in high-visibility contexts

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years of experience in operational planning, strategy, and program management

  • Proven experience implementing organizational planning rhythms

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

  • Experience with OKR planning and strategic planning frameworks

  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

  • Agile, pragmatic problem-solving mindset

  • Demonstrated leadership in global program management within a matrixed organization

  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with global organizations and planning tools (e.g., Airtable)

  • BA/BS in Business, HR, Management, or related field
