Primary Role:
Your primary responsibility is to ensure the highest standard of patient care, emphasizing patient health, compliance, and satisfaction. This includes advising on prescriptions and managing chronic and specialty conditions. You will also facilitate a positive team culture that promotes care, enthusiasm, and pride, guiding pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals.
Essential Job Functions:

Provide medication support and education to patients.

Manage staff pharmacists and technicians, if applicable, and address knowledge gaps through training and education.

Inventory control

Loss prevention

Workflow management

Stay current with HIPAA, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse credentialing requirements.

Ensure the pharmacy and its employees comply with all relevant legal regulations.

Ensure staff awareness and compliance with local facility policies.

Requirements:
Education & Licenses:

Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school is required.

Necessary licensing and certifications as per federal and state regulations for the state of practice.
Preferred Experience & Skills:

Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting, 340b knowledge is a plus (but not required).

At least 2 years of related pharmacy experience.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Exceptional patient service skills.
Physical Requirements:
