Job Summary
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in patient diagnosis and treatment by performing a range of imaging procedures. Using advanced radiographic equipment, you’ll ensure high-quality images are captured for accurate interpretation by radiologists and other healthcare providers.
This is a patient-facing role.
Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs as ordered by providers.

Properly prepare and position patients to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal imaging outcomes.

Clearly explain procedures and respond to patient concerns to ease anxiety and promote cooperation.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment; adjust settings to achieve the best quality images.

Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff.

Capture, review, and ensure the technical accuracy and clarity of all images.

Maintain and update patient records and documentation using EMR and other digital systems.

Identify and resolve technical or equipment-related issues to ensure seamless workflow.

Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely and appropriate imaging services.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology (required)
Experience:
-
0–2 years of experience in a radiologic technologist role
Licensure & Certifications:
-
Must hold a valid State Radiologic Technologist License (Required)

ARRT Certification in Radiography [ARRT-R] (Preferred)
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Preferred)
Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and procedures

Proficiency with imaging equipment and digital imaging systems

Solid understanding of patient positioning and safety protocols

Familiarity with CT and MRI procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to follow protocols precisely

Committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, lifting (35+ lbs), and manual handling

Occasional kneeling, stooping, climbing, and pushing/pulling

Constant use of vision, hearing, and speaking abilities

Manual dexterity and tactile sensitivity required for equipment operation and patient care
