About the Role

We are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to own strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media for our DTC business. You will drive profitable customer acquisition and lifetime value across search, shopping, and paid social campaigns. This role partners with creative, product, and analytics teams to turn insights into scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute full-funnel paid media strategies aligned with revenue and margin goals.

  • Manage forecasting, pacing, and daily optimizations to meet CAC, ROAS, and payback targets.

  • Oversee account structure, bidding, audience strategy, and budget allocation; run experiments (A/B, incrementality) and scale winners.

  • Lead creative testing loops; collaborate with creative teams to improve CTR, CVR, and CPA.

  • Manage product feed health and merchandising (GMC, feed rules, promotions, PDP/LP hygiene).

  • Implement measurement via GA4, GTM, pixels, and conversion APIs; maintain clean tracking.

  • Build weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.

  • Partner with Lifecycle/CRO teams to align acquisition with conversion, retention, and LTV growth.

  • Monitor competition, auctions, and platform changes; identify new channels and betas to test.

  • Manage agencies or freelancers and enforce best practices and performance SLAs.

Requirements

  • Hands-on proficiency with Google Ads (Search, Shopping/Performance Max) and Meta Ads.

  • Strong understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and attribution basics.

  • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills; BI tool experience (Looker/Tableau) is a plus.

  • Strong quantitative mindset: CAC/ROAS/payback analysis, cohort views, and experimentation frameworks.

  • Experience managing sizable budgets with forecasting and pacing discipline.

  • Clear communicator, able to turn data into actionable decisions.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to execute in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Background

  • 5+ years in performance marketing for DTC/eCommerce brands, in-house or agency.

  • Proven ownership of seven-figure annual budgets.

  • Experience scaling Search/Shopping and Paid Social campaigns while improving efficiency.

  • Familiarity with landing page testing/CRO, additional channels (YouTube, TikTok, Reddit Ads), server-side conversions, and feed management tools.

  • Bonus: SQL, marketing mix modeling, media incrementality, subscription/LTV-driven business experience.
