Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and process prior authorization requests based on established clinical criteria, policy, and procedures.

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all prior authorization determinations.

  • Collaborate with providers, healthcare professionals, and internal teams to support appropriate drug utilization.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including Medicare Part D.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the appropriate state is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is mandatory.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed pharmacist.

  • Prior experience working in a Prior Authorization or PBM setting is essential.

  • Experience supporting Medicare Part D programs.

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to work efficiently in electronic systems.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in a call center or customer-facing environment.
