Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and clinical suitability.

  • Conduct virtual counseling sessions to educate patients on medication use, side effects, storage, and adherence.

  • Collaborate with prescribers and care teams by offering timely pharmaceutical recommendations.

  • Oversee virtual prescription workflows, coordinating with pharmacy technicians and fulfillment partners.

  • Ensure compliance with DEA and Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy regulations, especially for controlled substances.

  • Deliver Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services to eligible patients.

  • Provide immunization guidance and help patients connect with local administration resources.

  • Accurately document all patient interactions and pharmaceutical activities using EMR and pharmacy software systems.

  • Remain up to date with telepharmacy best practices, Pennsylvania pharmacy law, and clinical developments.


Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.

  • Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania Pharmacist License in good standing.

  • 1–3 years of experience in retail or clinical pharmacy preferred. Strong internship experience will be considered for new graduates.

  • Immunization certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

  • Comfortable using digital tools, EMRs, and virtual care platforms.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient engagement in a remote setting.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and compliance-focused.


Work Requirements

  • Fully remote role; must reside in or be licensed to serve Pennsylvania.

  • Full-time position (40+ hours/week), including rotational evenings and weekends.

  • Must maintain a HIPAA-compliant home workspace and a reliable high-speed internet connection.

  3. Final Interview – May include virtual or onsite components


Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $110,000 – $130,000/year (or $52.00 – $62.00/hour)
