Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily sterile and non-sterile compounding operations.

Ensure full compliance with USP standards (795, 797, 800), FDA regulations, DEA requirements, and cGMP guidelines.

Train, manage, and support pharmacy technicians and other compounding staff.

Review and approve compounded formulations, labels, and documentation.

Manage production schedules and perform quality assurance and control checks.

Oversee inventory, including tracking and handling of controlled substances.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe compounding environment.

Participate in audits, recalls, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of all activities.
Supervisory Duties

Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations for compounding staff.

Ensure team adherence to internal protocols and all applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications
-
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree.

Active and unrestricted Florida Pharmacist License.

1–2 years of hands-on experience in both sterile and non-sterile compounding preferred.

In-depth knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 standards, as well as relevant state and federal regulations.
